Did you know that members of Ridgefield Bicycle Club can receive a 10% discount not only at the Ridgefield Bicycle Company but also at eateries around town?

Currently there are three fantastic spots where you can snag a 10% discount next time to start or end a ride, just by letting them know you are an RBC Member
1. Queen B Coffee Company. Located right on Main Street, this friendly cafe owned by two sisters with ample seating in the basement is popular with biker and beast alike (dogs love their “puppacino” aka a cup of whip cream!)
2. The Corner Cafe - The newest entry to Main Streets eating options, owner and avid cyclist Henry has lovingly remodeled Tony’s Corner Deli into a bright and lively space with a bike rack large enough to park a dozen+ bicycles safely - check it out!
3. Tazza Cafe - Long a staple of Cyclists, you’ll be hard pressed NOT to find a few riders posted up here on Main Street during a sunny Saturday! Sure, the bike rack has a history of dinging frames but the drinks, food, service and location can’t be beat!

It is our goal at RBC to deliver maximum the value of your membership. We will continue to add more businesses to this list - be sure to patronize these locations as well as our sponsors, The Cake Box, Southwest Cafe, Tusk & Cup and Nod Hill!

Introducing a whole new series of rides! Ridgefield Bicycle Club is proud to roll out 5 new types that are sure to satisfy EVERY rider:

Tandem Bike Riding:
If you’ve attended a Thirsty Thursday, you’ve likely seen Gordon Plaut and Keith Sherling zipping around on their double tandem bike, crushing everyone on the flats and groaning up the hills. This year, the Tandem Bike Series is set to grow, not only in the number of participants but also in the number of seats per bike.

Unicycle Riding:
This series brings biking back to it’s most basic and raw of forms - no greasy chains to fall off, no Di2 shifters to die on you. Just you, the wheel and the open road.

Tall Bike Cycling:
There’s nothing better than drafting behind someone tall. So imagine how great it will be when you’re drafting behind a 12 foot tall bike!

Penny Farthing Crit Racing:
Races will occur at the RHS Tiger Hollow Track every Friday. And while not required, dawning a curly mustache and bowler cap is highly recommended.

Scuba Dive Riding:
We did some research. Did you know that 71% of the world is covered in water? That means some of the best routes are probably right down there in the murky deep!

We hope you’re as excited for the 2025 season as we are! There’s so much to look forward to... even if this entire this is one big April Fool’s joke 😉

It might be on April 1st be we ain’t foolin around! Join Ride Leader Mitchell Fink @mitchellafink on a C Level, No-Drop Ride. This is perfect for new riders and folks just getting back out on the road. At 12-13 mph average speeds, you can enjoy the scenery and handle the hills!

This ride is open to members and non-members who are interested in testing about the club alike! Just sign up via Wild Apricot - this link is in our bio.
