RBC Loves Riding and Engaging with the community:
Road Rides
Regularly scheduled rides on local roads for all levels; available most days of the week; led by trained/experienced ride leaders/club members; 20-35 miles, or longer on weekends.
Gravel Rides
Regularly scheduled rides on local hard pack dirt/gravel roads, generally for C/B level riders; available 1-2 days of the week; accessible using gravel or road bikes; led by trained/experienced ride leaders/club members; 20-30 miles.
Rail Trail Rides
Regularly scheduled rides on local hard pack dirt/gravel roads, generally for C/B level riders; available 1-2 days of the week; accessible using gravel or road bikes; led by trained/experienced ride leaders/club members; 20-30 miles.
Mountain Bike Rides
Regularly scheduled rides on local mountain bike trails for all levels; led by trained/experienced ride leaders/club members.
Destination Rides
Road or gravel rides within an hour drive from Ridgefield, offered 1-2 times a month for all levels; 30-65 miles; led by trained/experienced ride leaders/club members;, includes lunch stop and post ride social gathering.
Spin Rides
Thirsty Thursday
Signature Club ride on local roads offered every Thursday evening during the season, available to all levels; led by trained/experienced ride leaders/club members; event is sponsored by a local business or restaurant that provides food and drinks and a meeting location at their place of business for a post ride social gathering.
Community Activities
The Club sponsors local sporting events such as the Kids’ duathlon, the Ridgefield Triathlon, and Special Olympics
Education/Clinics
Led by experienced Club members, the Club periodically offers clinics on basic introduction to cycling, group riding skills, safety, ride leader training, flat tire changing techniques, and bike maintenance
